Strain F2004 is a probiotic with a specific functional effect: It maintains a good digestive health and the balance of gut microbiota.

Its main characteristics are, according to the main researcher of this strain, AB-BIOTICS:

-Able to survive in conditions that duplicate those of the GI tract (pH, enzymes, bile salts).

-Adheres strongly to intestinal mucus. Inhibits the growth of potentially pathogen bacteria.

-With QPS status (Quality Presumption of Safety) and totally safe (Toxicity study in rats).

-Strain F2004 is lyophilized, but in contact with enough water (as it happens once consumed), it activates.

-Strain F2004 includes the formation of IL10, which is produced mainly by monocytes, and to a lesser degree by Th2 and Tregs.

-The origins of F2004 strain is the gut flora of a healthy child.
